Recent project: Chalkhill Garden Murals

I recently completed a series of courtyard garden murals for the CAMHS inpatient unit at Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.

The project included two painted garden murals and a blackboard mural designed to invite young people to add their own chalk drawings, words and ideas.

The murals were painted directly on site in a closed courtyard garden, creating a calmer and more imaginative outdoor space for young people using the unit.

Materials & Clinical Safety

• Durability: The murals are painted with permanent acrylic paint and varnished with a weatherproof and UV-resistant varnish. They are designed to last for years.

• Clinical Safety: All the materials are approved for use in hospital settings.
